LOW_Hitman Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 In the ST Version (VR) we had a loadingscreen when entering a mission, is it possible to re-enable this screen? Its a lot better instead of watching a black window. As I, for one, rather see a black screen instead of a 1fps stutter and glitch fest 3 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH

I've gotten into the habit of starting steamVR manually before starting a VR title. That way I stand in SteamVR's Home scene (mountain summit) and can look at butterflies and Portal's Companion Cube whilst a game loads. Calms my nerves. And it's a nice scene. Now, if VR games had a quick-loading 'loading construct' like that or game-themed (the hangar scene comes to mind for DCS), I would appreciate that a lot. 1
Nealius Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 +1. I frequently have missions hang at Sim PostStart, and without the loading screen I can't tell what's hung up and what's simply taking a while to load. 1
