As I fly full modules, I haven't used FC3 in ages. If I uninstall, do I still get access to the AI versions of F15 etc or do I have to keep FC3 to use them?

No, you will not loose them. All DCS modules consist of mandatory part available ingame and paid part (cockpit).

I think the above message is rather unclear. You don't need to have FC3 installed to see the AI aircraft. You can uninstall and not worry about it.

1. removal of FC3 does not mean that AI or player FC3 will be gone (the external models are always included)

2. removal of FC3 does not mean you can not reinstall it at later time.

I think we covered all dilemmas.

DCS W has two "core" directories to the modules...

  • CoreMods directory with all external models and all modules.
  • Mods directory with all cockpits and funtionality about modules.

Uninstall the FC-3 only will erase the Mods FC-3 directory, but the external models continue present on the DCS W directories, on fact, with a new module has been release, more data has install on the core mods with the prooper info and external models, etc to working into editor and MP, same with have a update

3. If one uninstall FC3, you'll lose the flyable F-15C.
