llStrikerll Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I have no idea what the problem is. Everytime my choppers drop off the ground team I start to head back and Bingo everytime I start losing power with a transmission overheat or failure. What am I missing? I was in an Attack Helicopter Troop in the service and we rarely had transmission issues, Can someone give some insight into this issue? I have not made it back yet let alone complete the mission.:helpsmilie:
EtherealN Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Are you controlling the throttle directly? If you do it the fixed-wing jet-jockey way and put your physical throttle on the joystick to throttle in-game instead of collective, you can break all kinds of stuff in it. A track file to inspect would make it easier to figure out what's happening, though. Brassbud Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Are you shutting down the APU after engine start up? Just a thought.
