Multiplayer server and Airplane Repair.....

Hello,

I was wondering if "Request repair" is just disabled or do you have to be in a particular set up to allow for repair?  I blew a couple tires on landing and wanted to just get back up after rearming, but "Request repair" was yield "Unable to comply."

Also at one air strip the plane was already up and running, while at another I had to start from cold.  Is that some Multi player server setting? Preference?  Not a big deal, auto start works, but thought it was odd that I was already up and running when I spawned in at one base but not the next.

3 pre-requisites come into my mind right now:

- Make sure the game does not regard you as dead (invisible on F10 map) 

- Land on a friendly airfield

- Engine(s) off

Where you spawn depends on how the mission creator has set up the available slots. Some creators have both cold and hot starts on an airfield and sometimes even name them accordingly.

Not dead....I was in plane doing stuff, etc.

I'll try it again next time.

Yes, I saw that there were slots called "HOT"  is that it???

Yes, very likely.

For refuel and repair you also need to make sure you are completely off the runway along with the 3 conditions mentioned above.

Thank you.....I was parked in front of one of the hangers....perhaps not off the runway enough.  :0  I'll get it worked out.  

It was tricky moving around with two flat tires LOL.

It's not that, you can actually repair even in the middle of the runway, there is no technical limitation in doing that, but it's a gentleman agreement not occupy runway for rearm/repair procedure

When ground crew reply: "unable to comply", actually you've not turned off completely your plane, and even if it's completed de-energized, you have to wait that all the blades of engines are not moving (spinning down)

You know I tried that ,maybe I should have waited longer...oh well next time thanks for  the input.
