So I noticed now that the HUD turns on differently during startup and didnt think anything about it until I started flying. Now it seems as though the HUD has an intermittent lag of up to 2-3 seconds most noticably with the flight path marker, I would go on a CCIP bomb run and line up and sometimes it jumps to new position (or jumps out of position for all I know) throwing off the CCIP line and pipper. The bombing accuracy in CCIP also seems worse but I am assuming that is attributed to the HUD.

Is anyone else noticing this? I searched the forum after the update and didnt find anything pertaining to this issue.

HUD has new animation when starting INS Alignment.

When bombing in CCIP you should make use of the TGP laser, you can fire the laser prior to the dive and it will continue firing for about 30 seconds, giving the aircraft better ranging information and thus better accuracy.

As for the HUD lag you are talking about, can you post a track showing the issue?

Sorry took so long to respond. I have flown a couple times and cant get it to recreate for a track but I will save a track the next time it happens to me. I know im not imagining it, im just wondering if its a specific load out or cat III condition thats causing it because an air start pulling high g isnt making it happen at the moment.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this. I'm not sure exactly what occurs to be able to reproduce this issue but it happened again so I saved the track file. It occurs in about the last 2 minutes or so of the track. To save time, just fast forward to the point that I level out and then I start a right hand turn and watch the flight path marker jump just slightly to the right. It actually happens twice in this turn. Before it happened during a bomb release. Just for info, I am using auto start procedure.

Saw your track,

you didn't align the jet properly even tho you autostarted,

when Norm Alignment is being done you have to wait 8min and until ALIGN on the HUD starts flashing and RDY on DED starts flashing. Then your aircraft is aligned and HUD wont lag.

@Furiz

All this time and I didn’t even notice I still had to wait. Must have become more pronounced in latest update. I appreciate your help!
