DCS freezing

Greetings

I noticed that since the last patch released 0.04.2024 my DCS started crashing very often. Sometimes even twice a day. I never had such crashes when flying DCS and so often. On the contrary, I have always considered DCS to be a very stable sim.

I don't know what to do and I ask for help. Here is my log.

Can you confirm the freeze happened while you were performing AAR?

Negative.

I don't remember ever having a single freeze when I was in AAR

Were you unplugging/plugging your Ethernet cable or is it something with your PC?

I also see a lot of Alt+Tabbing here:

Today we have problem with internet in our house. Someone accidentally blew the fuses in the whole barracks and the whole house's internet didn't work for several hours. But this is the first time this has happened in a very long time. I've experienced crashes even when there were no such internet outages

As for alt tabs, yes I do that quite often. For example when I edit a profile in the trackir or reply to messages in discord. I didn't know that alt tabbing can somehow cause problems in DCS.

No, it doesn't. I asked because I wanted to be sure Alt+Tabbing was from your initiative, not from some program. Another user is seeing fast Alt+Tabbing in DCS and he does not know what causes them (and I have no idea either).

Pleas ensure your Windows power plan is not set to an eco mode. Choose normal or high/ultimate power plan and see if things improve.

Roger

My Windows power plan was set on Balanced when freezes happens . Now I'm setting it to high power mode.

I'd like to report. I have been flying with Windows power plan set to high power mode for 4 days now and so far not a single DCS freeze has happened. It looks like it solved my problems completely.
