Some problems! Need major Help!

(pls. try to understand my worst english..lol)

1st, congrat's to this stuff!! It's amazing!!

It's not a game.. it's a REAL simulator!! Gr8!!:thumbup:

 

Now i have several problem's..the biggest:

 

1. When i config in option screen (game, and real setups) my

controller (Saitek X52 pro), i save it!. Game said i need a .lua

file.. and the default is (i think) the blackshark.lua Ok, i save

it, but than the game after 3-5 min go freez, and i becom an error

repor (send error report message). After if i try to launch the

game, wont start.. only the reinstall can help..

Ok.. i reinstall it.. config all again, but now saveing my setting as x52.lua.

5min.. error, wont start anymore, reinstall...

 

So hov can i save my settings..?OR the game will remember it?:helpsmilie:

 

After the game crash, i have become error report called "7298_appcompat.txt" (domunents and settings/application data/temp folder. Its too long to copy/past..

 

 

AND in the GAME Temp folder i have 2 error.log one with a date, and one with this:

2. BIG problem, and i don't understand..

When i touch the ground, the chopper's front wheel turn 90 degree left, or right, if i lift up, the wheels go straight.. why? what i do wrong? Now when im in the ground, collective down, and throttle in idle, the front whell slowly turning out.. If i try to correct it to straight, the wheels coming back, but very slow motion..lol what is the answer??;)

 

 

3. by default, Xfire is runing on my PC. Now if BS is launching,

and i want to fly. Game begin to loading, than i see that, the

Xfire is connencting to the game.. than freezing out.. only

ctrl+alt+del, and kill process help:( Of course.. if i dont use

Xfire..the problem is not coming..lol) But i dont think its the

right way;)

 

At last just ask!

I want to use the "real" setup settings to all my flight.. but example, if i

push the "instant action" button, the controls switch to my game

settings.. of courese.. not same as the real.. Now in options

screen, i click to "use this settings to all" but wont.. (i know..

setup game and real same..):P

 

And the Last.. Some help to understand my Saitek X52 Pro, and the

game settings..

 

I want use in my joy the "rotary 1, and rotary 2" buttons too, but

i dont now how:D The Saitek software call's this buttons "rotary",

but in BS setup i can't find it, only joy 1-100 button, or pov's..

So how can i now wich is wich??:cry:

On the first item, with the X52, one note - you say you saved blackshark.lua. This is dangerous, because it sounds as if you have edited it. It is necessary to have a good editor if you change lua files - normal windows Notepad can work but it can also destroy the file. Search on Google for Notepad++ if you want to edit files.

 

Thoughts on the error report:

 

Where did you install Black Shark?

Which operating system do you have?

 

It is possible to get a problem with Vista 64 if installed in Program Files (x86).

 

On number 2:

The front wheel will turn if you have not trimmed rudder correctly when you start. This is because with incorrect trim the helicopter wants to turn.

 

On 3:

I don't think this simulator is made to work with Xfire.

 

For "real", select "real" and after that select "use this settings to all". Not only the selection. See if that changes anything.

 

I don't use X52, so I cannot give good help on the problems with the joystick.

So i saved my setting, as in "all game".. i set it up, and push the save settings button in the game.. and not edited!! I have read the notepad++ program, if i want to edit.. but i wont!! i just want to save my settings..

Operating system: Windows XP SP3_hun with all daily update..

my pc:Asus Rampage Formula, Intel Q9650, 4GB of 1066+ Kingstone, BFG Tech GEF 9800 GTX+, and 2x500 GB of HDD.. i think its enough:smilewink:

The Rotaries (and slider) can be assigned as an "Axis" in game.

 

On the options / controls screen, click on the drop-down menu (called "All"), and select the Green line (called "Axis Commands").

In there you will see everything that can be assigned an axis.

If you then double-click the correct field (ie under where your X52 is listed) , and then turn the rotary, you should see it appear as "Joy_RX" or "Joy_RY".

 

If the axis is reversed to how you want it, you can change it's behavior by clicking on the "Axis Tune" button near the bottom.

 

If you want to use it as something other than an axis (ie for changing modes etc..), then you will need to programe in keypresses on the X52's SST profiler rather than in game options.

When it asks you for a LUA file to save your key selection, DO NOT overwrite any of the LUA files that are already there; instead, create a new file and name it whatever you like. For example, you can type "myKeys1.lua" in the save dialog. The reason that your game crashed when you overwrote BlackShark.lua is because BlackShark.lua contains settings for other parts of the game, and you overwrote it with your controls settings.

I'd need a good bit of translation work to decipher all of that, but ntdll.dll is a very critical system file in Windows.

 

Do you have anything in there that would mean something akin to "access violation"?

 

What I found on that error code was that it can be caused by faulty memory (physically broken RAM), faulty or corrupted drivers, and that Windows XP SP2 gets this more often than others from malware and adware. Do run an extra careful check with Adaware and your antivirus.

 

You could (hopefully) eliminate the faulty RAM explanation through removing one of your RAMsticks if you have several (most configurations have two in the case of DDR2 RAM, or four), and then work your way through them to see if it occurs when you have a specific RAMstick installed. If this is so, it might be one of your RAM sticks not functioning properly. In this case though it really should occur with other software as well, not only DCS.

 

I also found some references from Microsoft that this error code can occur in the case of a corrupt Boot.ini file, in which case it might be necessary to do a system restore or a restore from the install discs. That reference was also for Windows XP, but that does not necessarily mean it does not apply to Vista. But in that case it should apply to the operating system booting up, and not DCS specificially. (But I'm not a kernel hacker so my word is not gospel.)

Just saw that you have the X52 PRO, so before you format your HD, please try this:

 

1. uninstall Black Shark, delete any remaining files, and then reinstall it again from scratch so that you are sure that no files have been altered. You do not need to deactivate it!

2. make a backup of the \Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\stable\lua-direct_output.dll file and then delete it

3. start Black Shark, configure it as you like and make sure that you do not overwrite any files when saving your configuration

4. test if you still get the ntdll or any of the other errors

 

Some users reported problems with the X52 Pro, and Slayer found out here that deleting that file helps.

Hi there again.. now i have another nt.dll. error message.. i dont understand what, and why..:cry:

 

Now i have another problem..:helpsmilie:

 

1. after install, i go to options screen, and setting up the controller

2. I select (always) the REAL settings, and configuring my x52.

3. Deleting ALL GAME configuration! Only the Free Camera, and Real configuration are on. So only the keyboard, and x52 working.

 

4. here comes the rabbit..:-If i select the Camping mode, and begining it, all my REAL setting are working fine!

-BUT if i select the Qiuck Action, Absolutely NOTHING NOT WORKING Only my x52 throttle axis, as collective...

 

5. OK, im going to settings/controller/GAME settings.. Its not same, and not so many options, but i setting it up...

 

6. Launch the Quick Action again.. Not ALL GAME settings, but some settings are working fine!

7. im looking again to settings/controller GAME.. my options are there, but some button are not responding!!

 

8. Now i launch the Mission.. OMG.. some GAME, and some REAL settings

working.. but not ONLY REAL or GAME.. WHY??!! What im doing wrong??

 

Yeah.. and th "nt.dll error coming in step 4 btw. 7...

 

Befor u ask:

i have:Win XP SP3 HUN, daily updated.

I have the latest nVidia driver (182.50)

The latest directX.

For X52: SD6_32_Software_6_6_2_0. (latest)

 

I really dont know, how big problem, that i have a Logitech keyboard (own software). Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel (with own software), Razer mouse (own software)

 

And of coures, BS remote my Driving Force Pro, but the first in option/controller screen deleting all my wheel settings from any menu! And its not working in any gamemode!!

 

Im using riva tuner v2.24 to tune up my videocard, but by default only use to cooling my vga! Its not hooked up!

 

Now what..?:joystick::(

 

 

PS.: After the nasty NT.dll error coming, nothing happend,i becom the "send error to microsoftblablabla", than BS go back to menu, or where i was.. example to mission screen!!..

Of course, i try it without plugged and unplugged my x52..

And of course.. if its' unplugged, i can only use the keyboard, and mouse.. and the problen can't coming without a joy..:smilewink: (i dont touch the default keyboard settings)

 

And i dont use Saitek stick Profile..So i only install the software, and dont setting up anything.. leave it default in profiler, and setting up only in-game:noexpression:

 

But i'm a bit NOOB:D so if this replay is not "correct" or not understandeable.. sorry

 

And i'm a NOOB again!! In the options screen/gameplay i push the "simulation" i think the settings are going to REAL... If i check any other option, example radio assist, or external view, the game cahnge automaticaly the settings to GAME.. Thats why i suck:doh:.. and cant find/use my settings..

 

 

So if any MOD, or Beta read this.. in the next patch.. PLEASEEEE Do a menu for NOOB's:D:D Don't need game/real settings.. only one, but give option to select, and let me choose, waht is the best controller setup to me:joystick::smartass:
