Sinai map crashes on mission start

Hi guys,

The situation:

1) Start new mission on new map : sinai

Modern coalitions

put a UH1 on the ground (cold) 

saved the mission

launched the mission --> crash reported by DCS (log file send)

2) Same again except I put the UH1 on an airfield (south israel), saved then launched the mission --> crash

3) same as 2) but now I put the F16 on the same airbase --> crash at launch

Anyone else has this ? Or has some more info ?

I'm afraid that there is far too little information for anyone to help you. I've tried to follow your steps, with no crash at all. Here's where your info could be amended (better yet: add your miz file)

Where? I've put it somewhere north of Cairo West

What skill level? I tried Veteran, Player and Client

I see no crash with any of above configurations. 

Perhaps try a clean reinstall / full repair of DCS?

please attach the dcs log from saved games dcs log folder, it should have some clues. 

please remove any unofficial mods if any and run a repair or verify if steam

After clicking the launch button in the mission editor I only have the black loading screen until an error message pops up. The mission is never started

Ok this is the log file :

btw. I still have "Open beta" ... but that should not give any issues for updating right (although I use the multi threading version)

The mission starts without any problems on my setup. I'm running newest unified version.

I also do not get an error with this mission, repeating the steps you listed

We have the exact same hardware.  Only difference is I am on the latest NVidia drivers. I can also see you are running the latest version of DCS, multithreaded. 

But you are running mods.  UH-60 (The was causing issues a while back) and the C-130, for example.

So make sure you have the latest version of the mods.

I would remove all mods and then repeat the test. 

If it is fixed then one of those mods are causing the issue.

Hi guys,

 

I removed  both the hercules and UH-60 mods and I can now launch into sinai with UH1.

Still wonders why persian gulf had no problem but anyways...a big big thanks for helping out here.

Now I can finally fly (try out) my VIRPIL AH64 collective ..Thank you !
