Maolain Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Getting this warning when booting the game. Spent time learning how to exclude files/folders from my ESET antivirus. As I suck when it comes to pc stuff, I can’t be sure I’m doing this correctly. See attached. If I am in fact doing it properly, are there things I’m missing? (BTW, I purchased the F15 several months ago. ) thanks for any help

I dont use ESET, but your exclusions seem ok .. but no need to exclude the EXE file, as excluding the folder its on achieves the same thing. What you may be missing, is that your AV has already tampered with the DCS files, by removing an F-15E file ... either recover the file from the ESET infected files quarantine area, or by performing a DCS repair process (using the command "DCS_Updater repair") 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

maxTRX Posted May 27, 2024 Posted May 27, 2024 Maybe we should classify ED's anti antivirus posture as a bug
