If they even know either of them. I assume 99% of people that are concerned with the semantic difference between "game" and "simulator" are right here in such forums. I mean millennials are now 30-40 years old. They are now management age. So it's not like they wouldn't understand various concepts of gaming gaming definitions. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
zerO_crash Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Management is ultimately responsible for core segments of managing, budgeting (expenditure) being one. On paper, I'm sure that they are happier with paying a fraction of IRL training, by the use of simulators. At the same time, I seriously doubt that any company, state or private, would pay for entertainment of their employees (outside of social/efficiency activities). The prospect of defining professional/entertainment, is not possible at a general level. An employee can very easily find interest and enjoyment in their professional occupation. In fact, on the RU-side, we have for example one member, who is working with professional Air Force simulators. To him, it is entertainment, even though a professional burden ($). Let's stick to topic, this is as far away from KW as it gets. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Silver_Dragon Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 (edited) I remember a ED video, with Wags and others talking DCS Products was used on many countries Usa (A-10/F-16), Canada (F/A-18/UH-1), UK, Germany, east europe, scandinavia and a long etc..... About IP and company logos on entretainment simulator, on MSFS has Boeing and other put your logos on aircrafts, some "truck simulator" by europe and Usa has fill by truck builder and other companies, and some "farming simulator" has the same with many more, I thinking that has a niche, and that companies put your eyes over product to get some free publicity. The UAV downlink remember a old "profesional" video by ED about a Drone control station, many years ago. One Eyed Ross Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 I am probably going to get this one right after release, then learn to fly it...and then try to find some Apache pilots who need a scout... Sounds like a LOT of fun to be had. If it really is going to be "two weeks" I will wait on the F-4...
