Quest pro using quad views at 72hz.

4090, 5900x, 64gb ram, m2ssd.

The Heatblur F4 looks like quite the masterpiece (little surprise there) but Im a bit of a stickler for a solid 72fps (don’t like asw. I don’t mind when on the ground, but don’t want it when I’m flying around). How are you guys finding it? I’m seeing some people say it is the same/slightly better than the F14 (that’s good enough for me). But others saying the opposite, and that they are struggling to even get it to be playable.

Is it more cpu or gpu intensive?  Also are there possibilities that it will improve considerably over time? I don’t mind waiting, but the chances of me getting any new hardware anytime soon are non existent.

Thanks in advance

No issues here. For me it runs better than the AH-64, performance feels the same as the tomcat for me.

Good news indeed, thank you.

so i was planning to blow $4K on a new top end 4090 build just to run this module...i didn't end up getting around to it before the drop so I installed it on my potato I7 8700/GTX1080 just to see it and it actually runs very well in VR.  slow to load but once your in the air its fine.  was very surprised.

Same performance as the Tomcat for me with a very modest PC and a Quest 3.

The F-14 was heavier than most modules at launch and it got better over time. I think it will be the same for the Phantom.

I have a lowly 4070 Ti Super running DCS at 4K and get 150 FPS, so VR I would expect to get ~70 FPS.

The JF-17 is not better than the F-16; it's different. It's how you fly that counts.

Excellent news, thank you all. I’d de-hyped myself after the trailer showing how in-depth the systems modelling was. I thought it’d be like the ah64, amazing but a bit too much for VR on my system.

I owns a rtx 3080ti and a Intel 19-10850k and a Reberv G2 ,it can maintain 45fps steady at vr, more or less like the apache, with some twakings...but graphics at high, no shadows, and no msfaa.

At WMR I selected use best FPS available, and nvidia optic flux.

No shimmering at caucasus in free flight mission
