Custom Liveries for Bombs

Now that we have the new fuse options which allows us to select between USAF and USN bomb textures, it would be awesome to further expand this by allowing us to put custom liveries on bombs like we can with aircraft. This would be great for adding some further detail to missions, and having fun with messages on the bombs.

The mission editor is an utter shambles which needs a complete overhaul....and you want custom liveries on bombs lol.

Why not? i use custom bomb liveries, it´s just needed a way of choosing the liveries via ME instead of loading them via OVGme.

Because if ED spent 30 seconds implementing this - it would be 30 seconds spend NOT doing something useful like fixing the actual game. Don't get me wrong - it would be cool to have - but uncool to spend any effort on until a thousand other important things are resolved.

There are people working in the various areas of DCS. I´m sorry but it´s naive to think that modules or updates will come quicker if ED stops working on a feature to work on another "less important" feature.

 

I agree with you with that logic, of course i want core features worked or fixed by ED, but things don´t work that way.

I know it doesn't work that way....however I cannot imagine that this would be a priority for any member of staff.
