In the current Dcs version Mk 20 only has timed fuze options, so it bursts after a fixed time, not at fixed altitude. Default fusing options cause the weapon to burst almost immediately. That's rather awkward.

To say the least...

I blew the arse off my harrier the other night.

Yep Mk 20 is useless now - CCRP is broken too, falls very long. There are more threads posted about similar issues, and it seems most (if not all) CBUs are now broken and can't be used in DCS 😞

Yes the problem is still there, impossible to hit the target with Mk20 / CBU-99. Bizarre: CBU-105 still works perfectly! I'll try a bit to play with the timing in Mk-20, in wind-free conditions!

@Eagle Dynamics any update on getting this fixed please?

My dude. It's been acknowledged in multiple threads and been told there's a fix coming. There hasnt even been a patch after it was acknowledged yet.

Calm down bro. Spam mentioning ED employee's in every thread is not going to make the fix come any faster. You're just being annoying.

Confirmed fixed with DCS 2.9.6.57650 - CCIP and CCRP hits as designated. Thank you!

Not only they do hit as designated, they have a much more effective damage now. I used against T-90's and had success damaging them. I'll get back later with more testing results.

So did 2.9.58056 break them again? Because they're consistently falling short for me. Having to either go over at treetop height or maybe 4000' max in a steep dive to get CCIP to hit. Thought maybe the steepness was the critical component, but tried from 10,000' and 50 degrees nose down, still opened almost immediately and fell short. Track attached.

EDIT: CBU-99 with the FMU-140 in PR-- opens at its designated altitude, but the drop calculation is still off. Close, but definitely short, enough to miss and not kill a row of BTRs.

Broken for several months by now. AV8B and 14B. Veryfied by myself.MK20 Fall and explode extremly short of indicator! Latest version. Worked in the past, pretty confident n8 error on my end. Who ever asks for a track and calls himself a beta tester... go and test it...

Same problems for me on the AV8B as well. I've been testing them for a while and there is a lack of accuracy between where you aim the crosshairs and where they land and explode... in both CCIP and CCRP modes.

Any new on when are they gonna fix it?

No, because it's ED taking care of the weapons and it's a weapon bug. This impacts pretty much every plane and it's been close to 6 months since it was reported. The fuzes don't work the way they should and the CCIP/CCRP are wrong.

Guy, the CCIP and CCRP calculations are module by module basis. The hornet's was fixed 2-3 patches ago

Can you get the CCIP mode as active any more in F-18 in the latest patch? In DDI you can see CCIP being selected, but in HUD it reads as AUTO and works like auto.

Thanks, rob10. You were correct.

-----

Also AUTO misses the target by dropping Mk20's long. Mk82's hit where the should hit in AUTO.

If you're in CCIP but the HUD is showing AUTO that almost for sure means that you have a TARGET DESIGNATED.  Nosewheel steer button to undesignate any target and you'll get your proper CCIP symbology back.
