I have a Logitech G940 joystick with ffb, when I have the ffb option enabled in the game I cannot trim the plane. Complete lack of reaction to trimming. It works visually and when I press ctrl and enter, I can see that the trim is moving but there is 0 reaction on the joystick. I have to wrestle with the joystick. All I need to do is turn off FFB in the options and suddenly, miraculously, the trimmer starts working properly. I have all the DCS modules and in some of them the trim with FFB on works great, just like in the MiG-19. And in others it works poorly, and in F-4 and F-14 it doesn't work at all.
Generally, the idea of ffb is to use it because it's fun, but in some modules I have to turn it off, e.g. F-4 and F-14, because it is impossible to play like this with the nose up all the time even though the trim is set to max.

Are you getting other FFB effects with your stick with FFB on?

@KomandorAdam Are all settings correct? F-4E special options -> the first two checkboxes need to be unchecked! (stick deflection limit and stick force blending). These are for spring-centered sticks to mimic the real behaviour. Globally in DCS Force Feedback must be checked of course.
Works perfectly well on my end. The Phantom has one of the best FFB implementations for planes in DCS. And i read the team is getting hands on a Rhino soon, makes it even more interesting what will come out of this later.

The trimmer with FFB enabled does not work, in MICS the FFB option is enabled, in the SPECIAL tab I tried with the "Stick deflection limited" and "Stick force blending" boxes enabled and disabled, but the trimmer still does not work. The only way to make the trim in Pitch and Roll work is to turn it off in MICS ffb.
When I press ctrl + enter with FFB enabled, I can see a small Diamond that moves in the direction in which the plane is trimming, but the large green and orange Diamonds overlap perfectly and the trims do not work.
However, when I turn off ffb and press ctrl+enter during the game, when I trim, the small rhombus moves, but the large rhombuses also start to blur, moving away from each other, and the plane responds to trim correctly.
Sorry, I accidentally pressed Solution, of course there is no Solution.

I had a moment of tremors when I reached high AoA, but it went away and now I don't tremble at high AoA.

Seems like no FFB is working then, the trimmer function will only work if it can move your stick as I understand it.

Make sure to go into FF tune in the options and test reverse x axis, reverse Y axis or reverse both axis. One of those 3 should be selected. It seems to vary from module to module which one works.(might also vary from between the different FFB sticks too.

Yeah, needing to revert the force setting for Y axis on certain modules is something i remember from my old G940 back in the days...

Changing the Y axis of the trim helps, the plane no longer lifts up so much when the trim is completely moved to the extreme position. But it doesn't work as well as without FFB because the trimmer has low effectiveness and still lifts the nose of the plane up, but you don't have to struggle so much with the joystick. When I have FFB turned off, I can trim the plane to the minus that it will start to lose altitude after releasing the joystick, and with FFB turned on, although it works better after changing the Y axis of the trimmer, the plane still lifts the nose up, but more gently.
I also deleted the WSO trimmer assignment because it had the same buttons as the remote control, I don't know if it had any effect, but I deleted it just in case.
I noticed that the game reacts differently to changes in trimmer and other options and it is best to restart not the game but the entire computer to make sure the changes take place because some crazy things happened.
I also once had the impression that when FFB is turned on and I pull high AoA angles, the joystick shakes and now I can't find this effect.
I have a question for you guys: if you have the controls preview enabled using ctrl + enter and ffb, are the two major green and orange diamonds far apart or do they overlap perfectly when you trim them hard?
I still have many tests ahead of me, but thank you gentlemen for your help.
