3 Position switch bindings not working

Hello!

3 Position switch bindings dont really work... Bind for example the two toggle options for Position Lights - OFF/DIM and DIM/BRIGHT to two separate buttons. If you now push one of them the switch goes to DIM and does not move anymore when pushing one of the bound buttons.

In general I think it is an unelegant solution to make them two or more toggles. Why not one command per position? Like one for OFF, one for DIM, one for BRIGHT. Or, at least, toggle with one command thru all 3 positions?

Those are designed for use with a SWITCH, not being bound to a button.  Depending on the switch it may need this kind of set up to use it.  Other switches may need the OFF, DIM, BRIGHT type bindings.  So while you are correct that it would be nice to have both, it's not wrong that they have those bindings.

I think you mean the option named "OFF <> DIM". These are for switches, yes. But there is another set named "OFF/DIM". These are toggles, or no?

Hmmm.  Haven't had a chance to jump in the Kiowa and get it set up yet, but that does seem logical in which case your original point stands.

Boost pump switch toggle also seems to be incorrectly implemented. It's like a press and hold for me, instead of a toggle between two states.

Yeah some 3-way light switch bindings like the flood lamp off/green/white, position lights, etc are messed up.

Also the ON and OFF commands for Pilot AI... ON works like a toggle (on AND off) while OFF does nothing. Keybinds are a pretty mess in general. Did not expect that to be honest.

Would’ve been OK for an EA but this is a non-EA. Unfortunately, if they don’t get it right upon release, it might be a long wait before they are fixed or they may never get corrected, since they are usually low in priority.

Also think this should work better in a non EA module.
