using DCS on 2nd monitor

Hello, new user here.

I have windows 10 gaming PC.

How do I get DCS to load on my 2nd monitor only?

Right now it opens and goes to fullscreen on my primary monitor but I want it full screen on my 2nd monitor.

I can't figure it out.

You'll need to make/edit some of the display files. I personally find it easier with Helios on Github. And I export some of the MFDs etc to my second monitor.

Also depends on the location and setup of the second monitor. In my case a LG G3 77" OLED. To send DCS to my second monitor I hit the windows +shift + Right arrow keys and it sends it or any program I use to my second monitor from my primary monitor.

Failing that - what are your 2 monitors resolution - assuming monitor 1 on the left and monitor 2 on the right and are they aligned with each other as per step 1?

Isn't there an option on the launcher screen at the top? Its worth check-in, I'm not at home so I can't right now.

I had a similar problem and just found out the solution: in the file C:\users\{yourName]\savedGames\DCS\appSettings.lua you can change the windowplacement. Default is y = 0 and x = 0 corresponding to the top left pixel of your windows main screen. Assuming you have a second monitor to the right and both are full hd, you would change the x value to 1920.
