Lasers seem to hit allways the ground and are not hitting Objects on their track.

I wanted to destroy the shipcranes on a dock. But the missiles just keep spashing into the water instead of hitting the thin i aim at. Tried multiple position, altitudes and angles.

I mada a highly sophisticated drawing of the situation, its attached.

Hi @Snow-Bird

This is indeed something that is not exclusive to the AH-64D. Some scenery objects, including some scenery mods, are not "hard" surfaces in the simulation and they don't have a collision model to reflect radar or laser beams. The rule of thumb is, always designate to the base of the objects to guarantee a hit.

Oh, and I must rectify the title you chose for this topic. It's not "always hitting the ground behind", like I said, it depends on the objects your choose.

I tried designating the Pier below. No luck, the HF just goes in the water behind. Seems like the Pier and the Crane are made of the same "stuff". Kinda weird that they have a collision hitbox but not ha hitbox fot the laser though
