FPS issues

Generally speaking I can say that the overall performance of this module is ok, but there are some micro stutters, depending on map (on Mariana Islands map, Syria and Nevada over residential areas seems most noticeable), it's definitely more than with the other helicopters on DCS, but it is no game breaker. I really hope though there will be performance improving patches in the future!

But I noticed also some very bad fps dips while doing some sight seeing on all the maps, namely on the (otherwise very well performing) Gulf map, if you fly very near the burj khalifa (like REALLY near, a circle of maybe 50 feet around the building) and that other famous building with a heli pad on it (think its called "burj al arab") DCS turns into a slide show. This issue is easy reproduceable, it happens on every day or nighttime always at the same spots, and I noticed this also on marianas map on the building complex with "oka building" written on it, when try landing on the roof. The fps turn back to normal again, if you fly far enough away from it.

I think it has something to do with that reflecting glass texture that is being used on all those buildings or maybe something with the lighting system used on these maps. Again this seems to be no great deal breaker, as those spots on the map can easily be avoided. But there is definitely something weird (only happens with the Kiowa), maybe some dev can look into this.

I have seen some complaints on FB about the same thing. So this is in fact something a few people are struggling with.

Happens also when closing in on a sea based landing pad such as ships or some oil rigs.

I regularly get slideshows up to 0 FPS when being closer than a few feet to any of those, fps back to normal when you gain some distance again.
