Yes ,I've done that as well. Thanks.
Why not just get rid of Norton and start using Defender, included with Windows. It's better and simpler. Will give you a lot less grief.
Cheers!

Defender does little compared to other suites and win firewall is totally useless.

@Christopher Staples you can exclude the entire "D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta" from detections, this will also improve DCS performance a little. (I also exclude C:\users\...\saved games\DCS folder for speed up metasheders and fxo loading)

Thanks also to BJ55 for posting the link to the Auto Protect and Behavioral protection thread.    Now that I have set up the exclusions in Norton AV as described I am also back in the cockpit flying the Phantom

Hi everyone.

I have the same problem with Kaspersky. I included the three files mentioned by Zabuzard as exclusions (DCS.EXE,DCS_updater.exe and F-4E), but to no positive result. I still cannot fly the Phantom. It's disabled.

Any of you can lend my a hand with the equivalent Norton Auto-Protect and Behavioral Protection in Kaspersky?

Thank you so much in advance

You have created the exclusions, but this does not recover any file previously quarantined by the AV, need to run a DCS_Updater repair to recover the missing files.

Like Rudel says, you need to do a repair. You might also consider uninstalling those Anti-Virus solutions and just use Defender included with Windows for free.
