DCS - Buttkicker problem

Hi,
maybe someone can help me solve my problem:
I fly DCS. When I launch F 18 or F 14 from the carrier, the catapult launch is not passed on to my buttkicker.
Normally there should be a lot of rattling when the airplane is accelerated by the catapult!
Unfortunately, everything remains silent. This means that DCS does not pass on the "Catapult" action to Simhaptic. All other actions are passed on to Simhaptic.
In the past I have used Simshaker for Aviators. It didn't work there either. I was hoping that it would work with Simhaptic...unfortunately not.

I have not changed anything in any config files.
Now I don't know what to do.

Can anyone help me? What could be the problem?

hello. there is a video on YT that may help with simhaptic. it looks like you can enable certain scenarios i.e. catapult.

i do not have any haptic devices so i have nothing to test.

Yes, I know. I'm quite familiar with Simshaker and Buttkicker. I've been using them for a long time.
But I can't solve this one problem...

Did it work before you started having issues?? I am going to go and test a f14 takeoff and see what mine does with simshaker..

 

EDIT: I did not see or feel anything for the catapult takeoff in an F14 and simshaker.

well like I said I did not even see it listed in the simshaker, unles Ground roll is what you heard as I just checked and Ground roll is not creating an effect. it show something is playing but no buttkicker effect??

maybe we should report this to Andre.

I've posted it Andre, and I've posted it f4l0 (SSA) several times.
Here and in Discord.
Unfortunately there was no solution or no reply at all.
It would be helpful if you could write to them again

Hey A.F., on an unrelated issue I ended up reinstalling Win 10 and when I installed SS the sound was back for the roll on ground effect.. maybe try and uninstall and reinstall the Sim Shaker program. also make sure you have the updated version,.

 

I had gotten a responce from Andre and he asked which screen so I showed him lets see what he says..

In the meantime, I have changed the app.
I now use "Simhaptic" and "DCSreality" from https://www.rkapps.shop/products/simhaptic-for-msfs-x-plane
This does the same thing that SSA does but in a much more sophisticated way. The guys are really fast when it comes to improving the software.
I also have the problem with the catshoot. But that could also be due to the app.
In any case, you get an answer very quickly when you ask a question.

It's worth a look!
