[Mission Editor] Objects' (planes) position in ME don't reflect actual game play

For example:

Placing aircraft and associated assets in ME - the aircraft angles are totally different to the actual position / angles in gameplay - this makes positioning of assets very hit and miss.  I don't imagine I will live to see this addressed but optimism is essential!

Isn't it dependent on the setup? If you set them "take off from ramp" - they use the parking place direction setting. If you use "take off from ground" or as static object they use your setting.

Sorry for the delay!  This example was take off from parking - hot.  In the ME they display as being set at 'jaunty' angles - in game they are both aligned and parallel.

Now that you made it clear I support the wish  I'd even try to report it as a bug.

"From parking" (any) will put the plane on a parking slot (not necessarily the one that you chose in ME), and orient the plane on spawn into the direction that is best for the chosen parking slot. That is why you do not have an orientation that you can set up for 'parking'. If you want to set up the direction of a plane, you must choose 'from ground'.

You totally missed it, as I did for the first time. It's only about the visual representation in ME. Check the screenshots.
