Hi all, do you think that Quad views is broked also in fixed foveated? I mean I see the good looking center square and the bad one in the peripheral but it means that I get some performance boost? I have just bought the quest 3 and just discovered the quad view from mbucchia and all the things that is going on so I never tried before the new dcs patch to make a comparison.

The issue is specific to "dynamic projection" ie when the foveated viewport moves from frame to frame. That only happens with eye tracking.

Looking at the new patch notes it looks like this issue is fixed. Thanks ED and @BIGNEWY for tracking these issues on the forums and for the quick work on the patch fixing this and some of the other major bugs.

Thanks also @mbucchia for providing support in the interim. @BIGNEWY I would say that if you're not in contact with mbucchia outside of this forum thread, it would be a nice gesture, given the work he's put into the quad views support which a lot of people find important to their DCS experience, and the ongoing support he has provided here, to acknowledge his frustations over the issue and his previous attempts to report it without response.

I use Quadviews with my Pimax 8KX in fixed foveated rendering (FFR) or "without eye tracking" and it is broken as well since latest DCS patch.  I get stutters and bad performance.  Quadviews in FFR gives a great boost in performance even without eye tracking when compared to Pimax's FFR or OXRTK's FFR.

Update:  Last patch (2.9.6.58056) corrected the Quadview bug, it is back to awsome fluidity and performance!!!  Thansk ED, and thanks again @mbucchia.
