cfrag Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 It seems that since the July 11 2024 update, (at least for helicopters, will still have to verify for fixed wing), the events 3 (TAKEOFF) and 4 (LAND) are no longer sent. Instead we now receive 54 (RUNWAY_TAKEOFF) -- even when no runway near -- and 55 (RUNWAY_TOUCH) -- again even if there isn't an airfield in 50km radius. Is this intentional? @Grimes -- Is there some documentation available that you could point me to? Does this change also apply to fixed wing? VTOL? A lot of scripts use events ID 3 and 4 to control (start and stop) processes, so I'm guessing this may impact many scripts, some clarity would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for any updates. -ch 1

SlooFooD Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 Missing Takeoff and Landing events should be solved right now if trusting the latest Changelog (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/stable/2.9.6.58056/), but at least "Takeoff" event is still missing. Situation: I have a Tanker being spawned on a carrier after recovery window starts. When tanke took of an awacs should be spawned - but it isn't due to not having the takeoff event. Can you please solve this issue? The situation has worsened with the July 22 patch, no landing or take-off events sent out at all for helicopters when outside of FARP or airfields. Edited July 25, 2024 by cfrag
AlfreDCS Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Hello! Is it possible that event 5 (crash) doesn't work either?
