P-51 updates making the module worse

The recent updates to the P-51 have pretty much ruined the Mustang experience for me (at least on the ground).  The wheel braking (and thus nose tipping) is WAY too sensitive.  Why did they mess with it in the first place?  It was completely fine and handled the same for almost a decade, and then they decide to randomly change it?  Makes no sense.

Also, the noises the Mustang makes (on the ground) while at idle engine power are bizarre.  Any real Mustang that makes banging noises and backfires like that would never be allowed to take off.  Rarely do you hear a real Mustang backfire, especially not consistently over and over again like it does in DCS.

Does any know if you can roll back updates, and if so, how?  Thanks!

A new way of dealing with the suspension was rolled out across a few of the props.

Caused a lot of gripes, for me it totally knackered the Mossie on the ground first. It’s better now. When it was rolled out to the others the Jug wasn’t so bad but I complained and still do about the Pony too. It’s a joke as it is, like you say, you daren’t touch the brakes trying to steer about to taxi out and take off. Not so bad when landing but it wouldn’t be, just when your slower again.

Work in progress I hope but the braking is hopeless as it is yeah.

Not sure how you’d roll back or where to get back to before the suspension thing.

@Mustanger One cannot roll back individual module updates, it can be done for the whole game only. You would have to go back a few DCS versions (checking in old patchnotes which 2.9.xx build exactly brought suspension changes to Mustang and Thunderbolt, I don't remember off top of my head).

The guide thread is here:

Mind you, it's possible that old version is no longer available. ED tends to remove older builds after a few months to make space on their servers for newer ones.

A) The Mustang is a tail dragger with good brakes. You slam the brakes on full, you're going to tip it on its nose.

B) Throttle fully closed is not "idle". For Merlin engines you select 1,000-1,200rpm on the ground. You're getting backfiring because you've fully closed the throttle to around half that value. The engine is not designed to be run for extended periods of time with the throttle lever fully closed.

Did the recent update change the trim in the Mustang for anyone else? I've reset the control values to my Warthog stick , watch the trim wheel move in game but feel no effect?
