kraszus Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 (edited) It appears yesterday's Oculus update has now broken OpenXR Toolkit for DCS and many other sims EDIT: Should clarify this is for the beta branch of Oculus Edited July 16, 2024 by kraszus
Maddaawg Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 (edited) The dev for OXRTK has recommended you remove the tool, he is no longer supporting it. I only use it for displaying FPS and CPU/GPU usage. From his Github: Quote AS OF 2024, SUPPORT FOR OPENXR TOOLKIT IS DISCONTINUED. THERE IS NO NEW DEVELOPMENT AND NO TECH SUPPORT OF ANY SORT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT RECOMMEND TO INSTALL/USE OPENXR TOOLKIT, AS IT IS KNOWN TO CAUSE ISSUES WITH MANY OF THE NEWER GAMES RELEASED IN SINCE 2024. DCS and Quad-Views are also currently having issues. Left the beta path and all works fine again. Does the oculus beta work if you remove openxr toolkit?

Xtorris Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Well that sucks. I'd imagine it's going to stop working with DCS eventually, and it will take the devs forever to implement their own version.
mbucchia Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 FWIW I investigated this issue (even though I do not work on this anymore and have 0 plan to try to fix it). The explanation is here: 7 I wasn't banned, but this account is mostly inactive and not monitored.
kraszus Posted August 2, 2024 Author Posted August 2, 2024 Hotfix to PTC version of Oculus has now corrected this bug.

Qcumber Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 It's running fine for me. There have been a couple of updates recently. Which one are you using? 9800x3d; rtx5080 FE; 64Gb RAM 6000MHz; 2Tb NVME; Quest Pro (previous rift s and Pico 4).

MrPiper Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 I am on to support. Reinstalled link software, power settings, etc. etc no joy. They have asked for log files so hoping for a fix soon. 1 The DEMONS[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Go to Heaven for the climate,Hell for the companyCheck us out on page 23 in the squadron directory, on the multiplayer forum and send me a private message.
