topol-m Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) Nice vehicle, it looks much more solid than the humvee. I`d like to have one and drive it around in traffic jam :gun_smilie: Edited May 12, 2009 by topol-m [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Alfa Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 GAZ 2975 "Tigr" ... a nicer looking alternative :D : http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:GAZ_2975_Tigr.JPG The photo was taken during the may parade last year, so it seems like that the "Tigr" has already been accepted into service with the Russian army. Alfa Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Not only in service, but also fielded in combat. Tigers seen in SO/Georgia, last year: Cool - I didn't know that, but I am not surprised that it was accepted by the military :) . A couple of years ago I read an article by a civilian Russian motor journalist, who took it for a test drive on a military test range and although he was somewhat sceptical about the performance beforehand(due to the heavy military configuration), he had nothing but good things to say about it after driving it and was surprised how smooth and effortlessly it cleared even the most challenging obstacles on the test range. joey45 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Most probably GSM Jammer. they are... seen enough of them [any jammers] to know. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
