As suggested by BIGNEWY (https://forum.dcs.world/topic/353264-patch-discussion-july-2024/page/13/#elControls_5488566_menu)

- the problem of recording flight times and landings has not been solved.

- new problem: radio menu > F5 (ATC) > F1 (CVN-71) > only F11 (Previous menu) or F12 (Exit), the INBOUND option no longer appears.

I attach track and debriefing.log of 3 takeoff/landing from CVN-71 which highlight the above. Test in Mariana + SC + F-14. Thanks for the attention.

The problem with the landings not being registered is that you can not finish the missions successfully. This broke the game for me as i mainly play campains

Just realized that I ran into this on Green Line campaign.  I got the "mission complete" message in game but noticed it hadn't marked the mission as complete when I went to continue the mission.  It's possible to continue simply by skipping the mission in the selection screen.

Solved the problem, at least for me, with the radio menu which no longer allowed the 'INBOUND' option from Carrier ATC.

You need to enable the 'allow airboss' option from the carrier properties window in mission editor and communications with Carrier ATC are possible again (you do not need to also enable 'allow LSO').

It therefore seems that Carrier ATC is now linked to enabling the Airboss function. If anyone can verify, so as to confirm and help others. THANKS.

This did not fix it for me.

Yes, even for me. Unfortunately, from time to time the INBOUND option is no longer available for some missions, then it is available again. I don't understand, let's hope ED can soon identify the problem and give the solution.

@BIGNEWY Can we get some insight into what is happening here? Thx. Track is already attached thanks to @joker62

The menu for ATC just says:

Departure Ship. Taking Off

F11. Parent Menu

F12. Exit

No inbound calls can be made.

Frequency is correct. Radio used is correct

Only seems to happen on certain missions.

Both can be related to current bug with land/take off logging. No inbound call when you're on the ground/deck is normal but after takeoff/launch, when you're in the air and the sim didn't notice, it is what it is.
