DCS crash on splash screen when using openxr toolkit

hello. there is an issue with oculus and openXR with certain versions. you are likely being affected by it. if you disable openXR, does the sim run okay?

Known issue. Meta should fix it with v69.

Until then, either don't use openxrtoolkit or use VD which has no such problem atm.

The thing is even if I try to launch DCS not in VR mode, If I do not go into openxr and manually disable it DCS will not launch null

check your shortcut you use to start DCS. there may be a suffix in the run line that calls out openXR

so there is a rather lengthy post about the support for openXR in DCS. i think i found the answer on one of the final pages. cutting out the bit -force_OpenXR in the shortcut

In the oculus app settings there is an option to make oculus the default for open xr. Oculus should then run open xr if you start DCS from the MT folder without any force settings (which you might have read about in older threads).

Возможно, вам придется полностью удалить его, а не просто отключить набор инструментов. Стоит попробовать.

В противном случае VD остается вариантом, который я бы посоветовал всем иметь в наличии, хотя бы в качестве резервной копии. Лично я считаю, что он работает лучше.

Возможно, DCS изначально пытается запуститься в режиме виртуальной реальности, а не в плоском экране, и происходит сбой, в зависимости от того, что вы добавили в ярлык.
