m0jo Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Learn to trim, maybe the yaw autopilot is trying to point the nose of the helicopter at 33°. Try the flight director or hold the trimmer button, the autopilot will not hold a specific angle anymore CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL
VMFA117_Poko Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 You have to use rudders and trimmer all the time. Maybe you should buy pedals or at least joystick with a twist axis...
joey45 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Captain Caps Lock returns.... The heli still has torque so it will do that.. AND STOP SHOUTING The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. JG14_Smil Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 you just need to practice Gunslinger. it will come. he has pedals...
EinsteinEP Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Autopilot is probably on and trying to steer you towards a waypoint or the last heading you trimmed towards. 1) Make sure the waypoint light on the PVI is OUT. 2) Trim. Trim often. 3) Use your shift key. Shoot to Kill. Play to Have Fun.

gunslinger11 Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 i am using rudder pedals ans trimming all the time, its as though the wind is pushing me off course at low speed 6 -12 knots airspeed but at different strenghts and direections . wind is turned off in the gui! :pilotfly:Q9450 Quad, 4GB DDR3 (1600 Mhz), 1GB Evga GTX280, 500GB Samsung Raid 0, 750 GB Samsung Spinpoint, Hotas Cougar, CH pedals, Track IR4
Sulman Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 You've probably got some rudder trimmed in; it's easily done and can give these effects. Ctrl-T if in doubt. A lot of these problems will be helped by the proper heading hold logic in the patch. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
