Yeah good point.  I just checked it in 2D.  Have not tried in VR yet.  Will try later today and update post.

Update --

I tested both the bin and bin-mt exe files in VR with a Quest 3 and the Meta Quest Link connection.  Both are working perfectly with Haze Reduction using the VREM mod Version 4.0 .

I so need the haze reduction back.

Yeah it is great having it back.  
 

Did u select Dx 11/12 with Reshade?

Did u download Version 4.0 of the VREM mod?

Have you edited the file atmoshpere.hlsl 

Found in:  DCS World\Bazar\shaders\deferred.?  This file must not be edited or VREM will not work

I have tried both. Most recent with a DCS clean/repair and Link cable.

Ok. 

One last thing you may one to check is your selected video options in DCS vs lufeneste’s.   You can get a copy of lufeneste’s options on page 2 of this thread.  Some options - if enabled may be causing your problem.

Just an fyi. My connection to the Q3 is a link cable and the Meta Quest link software.  I do not use the Virtual Desk Top.

Do you use Steam VR?

Have you tried downloading the latest version of Reshade and pointing the software to both your bin and bin-mt folders?

Hello, did you install reshade without any VR option ? Only DX11/DX12, do not tick any extra addon.

Think I finally got it going. At least for my last session. Hopefully it's still there tomorrow.

Good, you do have ReShade 6.3.3 Addon installed from 10/31, yes? I see he fixed a glitch that was messing up the add-on programs with a couple hotfixes since 6.3.1..

To my understanding you can not load anything from ReShade itself...

Haven't messed with VREM sharpening etc, are they just as effective as Curves and Luma sharpening in vanilla Reshade?

I would like to use Reshade effectivement instead of the one I did, but unfortunatelly currently reshade effects are not compliant with addons as soon as render resolution is different of backbuffer. So no way for the moment. My effects are surelly not so good as the ones from reshade, but sharpen is affecting cockpit only (so less flickering landscape) and deband is on sky and sea only.

Worth it for that alone. Insane that ED can't just add a slider.

It’s not an effect like in reshade. Effects of reshade are some shaders applied on last render target. Haze removal (as for other features) is modifying the way original shader is building haze.
