You have two dcs folders at /saved games/ … check the file date of the logs.lua file (inside /logs ) to make sure which of the two yor dcs is using.

Thanks, the openbeta was last used mid-June, the standard had todays date, dumped openbeta. Now if I can just get the controls set up to stop self-assigning bindings...

Hope you first checked its sub-folders for items that you may have had:

/missions : Contains any custom mission that you had.

/Kneeboard : Contains custom kneeboards for your aircrafts.

/Liveries : Contains any custom liveries that you have collected.

/MissionEditor/logbook.lua : contains your logbook statistics and status of any Campaign that you have flown.

/Screenshots : Contains all of your screenshots.

/Config/Input : contains your custom control bindings.

I find that a best practice is to rename a folder/file first, if I have any concerns about it. I only delete it, if everything remains as expected after doing that.

If I played it much or had a lot of missions/campaign progress I would have, but after being away for some time and having startup issues I recently did a fresh install from scratch of the newest version, so really had nothing I cared about. Also the saved Control settings for individual planes was/is messed up so that had to be done from ground up also..
