I am able to get the Chinook in the air, and I have the stabilisation thing set to "both". However, I find it impossible to stay in level flight with this aircraft. Even a tiny amount of collective causes the vertical speed gauge to go crazy, and I then spend some time trying to get it to settle back to zero where the aircraft is not massively climbing or diving.

Does anyone have any tips on how to maintain level flight in this aircraft or to reduce the sensitivity of the collective please? Thank you in advance.

There is a good video on you tube that explains things quite well I thought. Let me see if I can find it.... hold on.....

I had to update my Virpil Firmware and set my Virpil Collective in DCS Axis Tune to "Slider" this helped take out the Quick fast Sensitivity back to a normal feel for me. I feel everyone's different controller may effect if this will work (setting to Slider) Try it, it might help.

I am having a similar problem when flying on "Bob" mode: When trying to ascend / descend from a given altitude the collective has no effect until about 50% travel, then it jumps suddenly to a steep ascent /descent. Calibration does not change this. I think it' a bug. Hopefully ED will correct it soon.
