NVidia control panel settings can improve DCS graphics. the NCP and DCS work together to allow the user to tweak settings. i have a 3090 card. i set some things in NCP and then set some things in DCS. this is what i have in NCP for DCS then this is what i have in DCS come back with any questions. SharpeXB Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 I always found Fast Vsync to work very well with DCS when using a fixed rate 60Hz screen. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
TOViper Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Hey guys! Have you experienced differences in the behavior of DCS (or frame rates) when using "Low Latency Mode" set to "ULTRA" versus "OFF"? I am asking because that's the only setting I haven't played around ever since this option exists in NVCP... I am asking because that's the only setting I haven't played around ever since this option exists in NVCP... i have an 11th gen i9 and a 3090 card. the description of the setting says "fully minimize queued frames" i honestly do not remember when i changed this. i am sure it came from a YT creator video. it seems i get a good response from the setting. 50 minutes ago, scommander2 said: is this settings good for the high-end GPUs, like 4090? Thanks. i think it is worth a shot. i really have no performance issues. note though i also have 128 GB of RAM. i see so many users having issues because of too little RAM. 1 hour ago, SharpeXB said: I always found Fast Vsync to work very well with DCS when using a fixed rate 60Hz screen. that is another option. i have found that when using VSYNC, only change the setting in DCS and leave NCP to "application controlled" Edited September 22, 2024 by silverdevil 1 AKA_SilverDevil Join AKA Wardogs Email Address My YouTube “The MIGS came up, the MIGS were aggressive, we tangled, they lost.” - Robin Olds - An American fighter pilot.
