Icon settings ignored when loading a mission by trigger or reloading by F10 menu

As the title says, once a mission has either been loaded by a trigger or reloaded by F10 menu, icon settings are ignored and only the setting DOT NEUTRAL works (I've set mine to SYMBOL ONLY). This has a big impact on the campaign MIG Killers by Reflected (I guess this also applies to his other campaign Speed & Angels, although I haven't checked).

I think this might be an issue with the logbook.lua and/or the campaign mechanics.

e.g. when i load into a mission via campaign (start the mission for the first time, not a retry or sth), when i fly the mission and look at the F10 map, the "callsign" of my aircraft will be my personal name, put in the logbook, in my case "KJ".

If then another mission is loaded via trigger (say F10 radio menu) the "callsign" on the F10 will be a different one and the icon settings are changed. In my example my aircraft then had the "callsign" REFLECTED (cause i was flying the F-4 MIG Killers campaign when noticing this) and i only had the option between dot and none (as icon settings) as @Gretsch_Man already stated.

If i load the same mission via ME, i have the full range of icon settings (like set up in the menu via options).

 

Example to try it out:

F-4 MIG Killers campaign by @Reflected

Start any mission (that will have multiple parts, like Mission 3) from the campaign menu. Fly and look at your callsign on the F10 map and check the "icon settings" by switching icons (none/ dot/ symbol). Fly until another mission loads via trigger or until you can "change" the mission via F10 menu.  Check the "callsign" and "icon settings" now.

Exactly. In certain campaign combat conditions, it's a big challenge for me without labels.

Or, alternatively, gift me a Pimax Crystal Light; maybe that'll help some.    

 

and yes, this also affects "Speed & Angels".

That's an interesting idea indeed. 

When I replayed Speed & Angels just a few months ago, there were no issues whatsoever. Looks like this problem was introduced by ED quite recently.

Any news about this? There were 2 updates since this post already and nothing has changed
