shomke Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 Hi all, Back to the mirage after a while... I am wondering, why was two different trigger where implemented for missile/bombs and for canon fire in dcs, although according to the manual it seems this is done with the same hotas control IRL (MICRoB trigger)? Or is the manual incorrect? I personally would prefer to use the trigger for both missiles and canon... null F-16C, M2000C, Persian Gulf Ryzen 5 3600, RX 5700 XT, 32GB ram, Odyssey HMD+, Home-made TrackHat, X56 Hotas.
razo+r Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 All weapons are fired by the second stage. The first stage should not fire guns.
Akiazusa Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 (edited) IIRC that might be some leftover things from the old version of the Mirage, where due to lack of classified info, something was implemented not as accurately as the current version, and they got updated/fixed/reworked after the collaboration between the Razbam and the French Airforce As razo said, binding the MICRoB trigger second stage is already enough. you can also bind the first stage if you what to use the virtual gun tracers. Other triggers are not used, just leftover bindings, they don't have functions. Edited October 24, 2024 by Akiazusa Kyoto Animation forever!
shomke Posted October 25, 2024 Author Posted October 25, 2024 Thanks guys, my fault. For any reason I still had a "Gun Trigger" command mapped to my hotas trigger. As you say this is probably a leftover. F-16C, M2000C, Persian Gulf Ryzen 5 3600, RX 5700 XT, 32GB ram, Odyssey HMD+, Home-made TrackHat, X56 Hotas.
