Mark Point Wont Generate?

At 8:22 in this tutorial, he creates a Mark Point to incorporate into his flight plan, the coordinates display at the bottom. When I hit the Mark Point Button, it does NOT generate coordinates in the bottom of the display? I dont know why, thanks for any help.

Haven't tried it myself yet. Have you turned on the EGIs? (From START page on CDU)

Thanks for the response. EGI is ON as far as I can tell, I dont see anything to turn on though on the "START" pages. Maybe I am missing something?

Sorry, I misspoke from memory. I meant the POWER page. The EGIs are on. I don't know the problem. I'll have to try creating markpoints myself later and see if it works for me or not.

Check if the "EGI 1 & 2 are available" messages are displayed on the advisory/warning page. if so, power off the EGIs and turn on again so that the message clears. not sure if that will make a difference but it may.

@tribundf Thanks for the response, I was not aware that it was bugged, so thanks. I didnt read that anywhere, and it puzzled me that there were over a 100 views and before i bumped it again and got a response. Thanks again
