bumfire Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Its a battlefield command and control helicopter, much more versatile than the single seater KA-50 and I would also think much more potent.
LukeFF Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 This is a screen shot from ARMA2 that is being released next week. Er, Arma2 was released in Germany a few weeks ago.

Zakk Posted June 10, 2009 Author Posted June 10, 2009 What? Sorry you couldn't read it the first time; try cleaning your glasses. Is it a trainer version, or? And if not, what is the second seat for? Gigabyte|Q6600|8GB DDR3|GTX285|Win7 64|X-65
Boberro Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Ka-52 is double seat chopper default... Two pilots help each other there. Then it is easier to engage targets, fly ect. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
RedTiger Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Its a battlefield command and control helicopter, much more versatile than the single seater KA-50 and I would also think much more potent. This. It's designed to detect threats and direct Ka-50s to attack them. There was a two-seater Flanker variant that did this same type of thing, Su-3XXXX....or whatever. Don't remember the designation. :P
joey45 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 It's being released next week in the USA. They found a U.S. publisher quick... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. "Me, the 13th Duke of Wybourne, here on the ED forums at 3 'o' clock in the morning, with my reputation. Are they mad.." https://ko-fi.com/joey45
mvsgas Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Sorry you couldn't read it the first time; try cleaning your glasses. Is it a trainer version, or? And if not, what is the second seat for? It is a common configuration for attack helicopters (Ah-64, AH-1, Rooivalk AH-2A, MI-24, MI-28, Eurocopter Tiger, etc) and some aircraft (F-4, F-15E, Tornado, Bucaneer, F-111, SU-24, SU-34, SU-30,etc) Two pilots or people(one pilot and navigator/weapons system officer/gunner) share the work load of combat. Helping each other fly the aircraft by operating systems and helping each other identifying targets and employing weapons. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
