Auto Start/Shutdown Procedure No Longer Mappable to HOTAS? (post 4 Dec patch) -> 24 Dec Update Fixed

They were mappable before the 4 Dec update. Bring back this option.

For me it works, however it is in General tab of controls for DCS, not for OH-58D directly. Check again :).

No, it's not in the General or UI Layer tabs for DCS, not that I could find it. If it was it would not be good as I may map it elsewhere on my hotas in other modules. It's in the Assist section for the Kiowa Pilot and is usually available for mapping under each module. In the Kiowa, it used to be mappable to the hotas but not after the recent patch. But I am glad PC has responded quickly here on this forum (instead of their Discord only) and to the other posts on old key binding issues that I have seen, as I was afraid these simple key binding issues have low priority and rarely get fixed.

I have in my HOTAS inserted function as Win+Home and End (so like on keyboard) and it works still without issue  so , maybe it isnt present as buttons but it works still as shortcuts.

Oh I see, how did you do that? Using a separate tool like JoytoKey?

Did you even need that? Keystrokes form the General section should be available, and one could just use VoiceAttack. "Start the b****". Shrug...

I know VoiceAttack but I dont like it, TARGET is a „virtual keyboard” which Im using for every module, I dont set up a buttons just shortcuts for every module (separate profile) what is best option for me. It takes some time but in the future it saves a lot of time, because I have a profile outside DCS, even if I reinstall DCS or developer changes something unless there is a shortcut vs mouse click problem, as in a few cases in KW recently ;).

Point being, keystrokes work, but not DX buttons. Hence one could also use VoiceAttack and all other software that does the same thing + macro keyboards etc.

Its not true, you can mix shortcuts and DX buttons even on the same controller, you have even 120 DX buttons to set up with TARGET. You need to get to know the software more deeply I think ;).

No, no!!! Not what I wrote. I was referring to the autostart problem.
I know you can use DX keys in T.A.R.G.E.T., still hate it.
