AldoUSMC Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Wingmen, A bit confused. When I switch to cannons in a run, then try to switch back to outer or inner weapons stations my KA-50 seems to want to stay on cannons. I've gone back and read the manual, checked switches, hit reset on the weapons control panel, undesignated target, hit the "Y" and "I" buttons too. Once in cannons I just seem to be stuck with them. I do have rockets and missiles left, just can't seem to figure out what I'm not doing right to switch back. Any thoughts ? fox_111 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 "c" to select cannon. This selection overide other selected weapons (missils or rockets). You can see your cannon selected by looking at your virtual stick in the cockpit, you should see the guard raised on the stick. That and the cannon reticule on the HUD.
Mist3ri0 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 (edited) its like the real cockpit.there are 2 different triggers for gun and pods and you have to switch between them.there should be a picture of the stick in the documentation or here in the forums where you can see how it works.you gotta pull the gun trigger up and rocket trigger down(and reverse) and thats what the c key virtually does edit: flight manual part 2-5 is where its explained Edited June 26, 2009 by Mist3ri0

Bucic Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 "sellect" cannon again :) This will unsellect it. To put it simply and correctly - it's a toggle function operated using one key (key command). F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
Fimble Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 (edited) While not directly to your question it may be relevant. If you use an X52 (pro or reg) you can bind the cannon mode to the first trigger stage and the second trigger stage to fire. Upon release of the trigger it will default back (un-toggle cannon mode) to whatever mode you were in (shkval etc.). Makes cannon snap shots a breeze for me. See attachment for a screenshot of the simple "Advanced Command" in the profile editor. :joystick: Edited November 20, 2010 by Fimble ____________ PC Specs Intel i5-4670k@ 4.5Ghz 16GB of Corsair what difference does it make RAM nVidia EVGA GTX 760 Couple SSD's and a couple mechanical drives 27" Acer LCD Monitor (1920 x 1080) 19" ELO Touchscreen (1280 x 1024) :joystick: Saitek X-52 :joystick: Saitek Rudder Pedals TrackIR 5 + TrackClip Pro Helios running custom profile for A10C based on Loz's profile.
