This evenig we had a session in the OpenFlightSchool to teach how to use LGBs.

My students throw their GBU-12 on their targets. I check the result with F6 view.

Every bomb missed the target in my view. But the students see that their bombs hit the target.

Please fix this netcode. It is a pain.

Best regards,
kaltokri

Try programming the bombs laser code on the ground before you take off. They don’t work if you change the bomb code while airborne (at the moment, seems to be a bug).

You will still have to change the TGP code in the aircraft.

On the LGB rearm screen there’s a little triangle on the bomb icon where you can program the laser code.

In the Stingers we have our own laser codes so for tonight’s mission I pre-programmed them in mission editor and they all worked great.

I had the same issue as the OP two days ago. My brother would see the bomb fall ballistically into the ground while, on my computer, I watched my bomb guide true to the target. Definitely a net code de-sync issue with LGB's. We were on Kola map and I was flying an F-5E-3. He was using JDAM's with the F-16 and those didn't seem to be affected by the de-sync, only the LGB's.

Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills.

Pretty sure the OP's problem is unrelated to this, but either way it's not a bug.  It was fixed to work properly to IRL now.  The laser codes on the bomb themselves are physically changed with a screwdriver turning a mechanical dial on the bomb, so it's not possible to change it in air.  You can change your TPOD code to match it in the air, but you can't change the bomb.

Same problem with JDAM and other A2G weopons. I hope they will fix it.
