mytai01 Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 I want to say that I now have a force feed joystick to replace my TM Warthog, and the difference it has made on playing DCS is every bit as revolutionary as going from a monitor to VR headset. Every aircraft becomes a totally new one with new flight characteristics and provides a new experience. I highly recommend going to force feedback and VR. 5 MS Win7 Pro x64, Intel i7-6700K 4.0Ghz, Corsair RAM 16Gb,EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, w/ Adjustable RGB LED Graphics Card 08G-P4-6286-KR, Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Champ PCIe Sound Card, Corsair Neutron XTI 1TB SSD, TM Warthog Throttle & Stick, TM TPR Pedels, Oculus Rift VR Headset CV1, Klipsch Promedia 4.1 Speakers...

Never mind. I see your other posts about Moza. Edited December 22, 2024 by streakeagle [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I'm do it in VR since 2017 (Oculus CV1) and FFB since 2020 MSFFB (custom made reincarnation) and FFBeast since 2021
Shortcut Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I have the AB9 up and running and I will not be going back to a standard stick anytime soon this blows the Warthog and the Winwing out of the water. 3 13700K, MSI Z690 D4 Edge wifi, Swiftech H360X3 Cooling with Corsair Water Block, Gigabyte 4090 OC, 64gb Trident Z 3600 CL16, Evga 850W G2 power supply, Moza AB9, Virpil Apha Prime on order, Winwing Orion 2 Viper, TM Warthog, MFG Crosswinds With Damper, TrackIR 5, HP Reverb 2, Pimax Crystal
mytai01 Posted January 4 Author Posted January 4 I wish someone could compare the FFBeast with the AB9, including the purchase and shipping experience. I agree Immersion factor is huge. I am using with VR and a motion seat (Next Level Racing seat mover) and this is the dream experience for me. 1
mytai01 Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 Things in DCS are way cool with all this gear! 1 MS Win7 Pro x64, Intel i7-6700K 4.0Ghz, Corsair RAM 16Gb,EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, w/ Adjustable RGB LED Graphics Card 08G-P4-6286-KR, Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Champ PCIe Sound Card, Corsair Neutron XTI 1TB SSD, TM Warthog Throttle & Stick, TM TPR Pedels, Oculus Rift VR Headset CV1, Klipsch Promedia 4.1 Speakers...
Kh4 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I've had my AB9 a couple of weeks now and it occurred to me last night while snooping about an enemy airbase in the AH-64D and picking off SAMs, that whilst VR gives you the visual illusion of being in the cockpit, FFB gives you the physical illusion. The aircraft now has 'weight' and tricks your senses in a very real way. A real game changer for sure 2
