If I'm not mistaken, the A-10C uses the same basic MFD's as the Hornet. In the A-10C (or maybe it's the Harrier...?), the color of the text and symbols on the HSI/TSD/moving map... can be changed to make them more visible against the colored map. Is there any way to do this on the Hornets AMPCD?

😢 Sadly, no. And the gain doesn't work well actually.

So I just turned the colored map off.

Tholozor's method above is very similar to what I do (choose 'night', then adjust gain and contrast) and I get perfectly visible results... the only real bummer is that most of the maps don't display beyond the 10 nm scale yet.
