brettt777 Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 If I'm not mistaken, the A-10C uses the same basic MFD's as the Hornet. In the A-10C (or maybe it's the Harrier...?), the color of the text and symbols on the HSI/TSD/moving map... can be changed to make them more visible against the colored map. Is there any way to do this on the Hornets AMPCD? Tholozor Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Turn down the gain, set the MPCD to night mode and adjust the contrast. 1 1 REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
FrostLaufeyson Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Sadly, no. And the gain doesn't work well actually. So I just turned the colored map off.

Tholozor's method above is very similar to what I do (choose 'night', then adjust gain and contrast) and I get perfectly visible results... the only real bummer is that most of the maps don't display beyond the 10 nm scale yet. i7 8700K @ Stock - Win11 64 - 64gb RAM - RTX 3080 12gb OC
