Guys, I don't know what you've done, but it's completely unflyable. In the same mission, all modules work fine except the F-1. Before the last patch, I had flown it with F-1 and the performance was good.

1. This track requires a mod to replay (civilian asset pack), which I don't have so I can't test it on my system.

2. Did you perhaps forget to clear FXO/Metashaders this time? Performance for me is just fine - better actually than the other modules you mention.

I have done the test again, I have already cleaned the metashaders and FXO, I have done it again, I have cleaned the mission from mods. In the track I have jumped from one module to another so that the difference can be appreciated, in all 70 fps except F-1, 8-10 fps.

Yes you're correct there is something fishy going on here. Performance is horrible for me too, not just in the F1 but in the OH-58 it's even worse (though the latter improves after a little while).

I doubt it's the module itself (or many others would be posting about it including myself), but it must be some weird interaction between the module and some aspect of your specific mission...
Let's hope Aerges can figure out what's wrong... 🤔

Same thing happens for me in Syria (I and others have posted about this long ago and got ignored). Look at my A/C modules list, and the F1 is the only one that butchers frametime for some reason. Before bringing up the esc menu made it back to normal, now that just makes the frametime better.

Modules so far: FC3, Mirage 2000C, Mirage F1, MiG-15bis, MiG-19P, MiG-21Bis, Mi-8, Ka-50 BS2/3, AH-64D, A-10C II, F-4E, F-14, F-15E, F-16C, F-86F, F/A-18C, Supercarrier, Syria, NTTR

Hi all,

I posted about this in the main bugs section- F1 is unplayable for me too ( i use vr so it's even worse , I would say 2 FPS!!)

Was all fine before the last update. The F5 also has suffered to the point where I don't fly it,  but it's nowhere near as bad as the F1 .

I have tried changing all sorts of settings and vr stuff as I had assumed it was a vr problem but nothing works...

Les

I have the same when bringing up the esc menu- I can then pan around with a lovely high frame rate

I spend a beautifal time with F1CE yesteday evening in shadowreapers 70s server. I have not a TOP computer configuration (9700F + 64gb DDR4 + 4060 + M2), but absolutely no problem with performance (60-80 fps, as usual). I have not installed any graphical mod (reshade or another version nvidia dlss). And, finally, I am not have VR and not confirm any troubles with module performance.

Ok,that's interesting - I'm not really sure where to start with trying to fix it.....

Did you try a simple mission? Just and F1 with no triggers in the mission? It seems that there could probably be an issue with triggers, specially AI TASK PUSH trigger, though it's not confirmed yet, it needs investigation.

Just tried a mission- no ai triggers but did put a few units in- I think that could be it!

Performance largely back to normal, I would say it's still much worse than before the update but sort of playable if i turn everything down ( although with this problem, turning down other settings doesn't have that much effect)

For reference my setup is 64g ram, Ryzen 9 7900, Radeon 6950xt red devil,  quest 2 headset using virtual desktop

I'll work the test mission up gradually and see where it gets worse....

Came here to see if anyone else was having issues with frame rates and looks like I'm not alone. Good to see it may be down to triggers. What I was was experiencing was in missions using Liberation Dynamic Campaign generator was good frame rate with other modules in fairly complex environments but attempting the same missions in the F-1BE completely tanks frames to single digits. Hope this able to get sorted as the F-1 is a cornerstone aircraft for many of my factions and I love flying it.
