Evil.Bonsai Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 (edited) Was attempting to fly WALTZ mission. Starts on deck, but can't taxi turn 90 degrees like the AI can. Even with my axis settings pegged to max, turn radius takes me off edge of deck. How do I get a nice 90 degree turn like the AI? Edited December 27, 2024 by Evil.Bonsai
PawlaczGMD Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 You need to press/hold the nosewheel steering button to enter high gain mode. You can make very tight turns in the Hornet. 1
Evil.Bonsai Posted December 27, 2024 Author Posted December 27, 2024 Thanks. I am a moron. Found HG turn. Been a long while since I attempted to fly hornet. Usually flying a10c. Even forgot to change stick from a10c to f18c...but found you can hotswap them while in flight.
fagulha Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Note: With wings folded just press Paddle switch (Nosewheel Steering) once and NWS HI is enabled; with wings unfolded you need to press and hold the Paddle to enable NSW HI. I think you meant undesignate/NWS pinky switch. The paddle is used to disengage NWS.

Undesignate/Nose Weel Steer Switch yes (i have bounded to my paddle switch therefore my error).
