Mr_sukebe Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I love flying on the Kola map, it's ace. Just been out to conduct a night time bridge strike in my Harrier. The visuals are stunning at night. One re-request. I see that the frequencies for some existing airbases have changed (again) with the introduction of the 2 new airfields. Can you PLEASE stop changing them as I like to include them in a kneeboard for the map which is manually maintained, and therefore a real pain in the butt. 1 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat

It automatically repopulates the frequencies to random frequencies, seemingly to drive users that create kneeboards or other info with the frequencies on them crazy, whenever things are changed on the map. Happens with other maps beyond Kola. Edited January 1 by rob10 1
Mr_sukebe Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 I wonder if there's a simple way to extract the data directly from the files. Probably so. Would be good if it was added as a standard feature, i.e. that each map has a KB page with a full list of frequencies for airfields. Personally, my list includes all the data that is shown when in the F10 map and you click on the airfield. 1 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat

Seems like it, I know reflected often has to change frequencies on his campaigns as they keep changing. 1 i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 3090, 64Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

It automatically repopulates the frequencies to random frequencies Only the frequencies that haven't been manually declared are repopulated. Usually the devs declare only the VHF and UHF freqs known from charts. The rest is left to automation to avoid conflicts and duplicates. (And lately some of the devs became so lazy that even the VHF band gets ignored.) From my understanding, it should be technically possible to declare all frequencies in all four bands. So Orbx do have some control over it. It's just that this would put them into our shoes by forcing to re-check and de-conflict everything by hand after each update. Doubt they're too eager to do that. 2 1 Dima | My DCS uploads
