Starting from cold & dark.

So I am new to the F/A-18 in DCS but have some experience in the VRS Superbug for P3D, including how to start the plane from cold and dark. I know the simulation in DCS is more in-depth however I am wondering for the most part, If I follow the same procedures that I learned in the VRS F/A-18 will I be able to start the plane in DCS?

Thanks

I don't know if the P3D procedures would be any different (also considering it's a Super Hornet v. Legacy Hornet), but you can always check the manual and see if the procedures differ.

Thanks I figured they might not be that different but since DCS is a much more in depth sim I wasn't sure if I would run into issues if I didn't do everything in the exact right order. I know the VRS superbug is a good representation for P3D but not sure how it holds up vs the DCS F/A-18. For example, in the Superbug you don't have to align the HMCS for it to work.

I have no experience with the VRS Superbug but I have to say the VRS docs are really well done.  It's a good resource to cross-reference when reading ED's Hornet manual and something isn't explained clearly or missing completely.  I love the DCS Hornet but I really wish the manual would get updated.  The Hornet is arguably one of ED's flagship modules but the documentation that it ships with could use a lot of improvement.

Does this mean I can actually drop all 4 bombs at once?

If you are talking about dumb bombs, you can drop all of them at once in a single pass by using the QTY/MULT settings. For JDAMs it‘s 4 at max.
