I used Russian ver.3 and embarking failed with just about every vehicle other that the APC BTR-80. Here is a track and the .miz file. I did some research and found out, that many vehicles can transport troops. I used two russian trucks and the rus. infantry Ver.3. The first truck goes to WP 1 and embarks the infantry. At WP2 they are disembarked and run in direction WP3. When they close enough to the "blue" vehicle, they start to fire. Blue Vehicle explodes they keep on to WP 3 where a second truck is waiting for them. At a given time the truck is embarking the infantry and heading to his final WP. I did not put in a new disembarking order. The mission editor is a bit tricky. The more you work on the mission, the more can be false. The mission contains one mod. The volvo fuel truck. We do have a bug though not the original one reported, I can only get troop groups that I created after the creation of the truck unit to embark, but not troop groups I had created before the creation of the truck unit. I can also partially break embarkation by adjusting the position of the troops, some refuse to embark when I do this. Would be great if you could confirm this so we can see if it's a mod conflict or if it's an order of creation bug. T.Power Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Okay so I have had the time to test embarking troops to an Mi-8 on an empty Caucus map with a triggered "go to waypoint" task with multiple waypoints for the troops on disembarking. They will all embark to transport, no issues. Afghanistan, they will not embark at all if there are any waypoints for the push task. South Atlantic, they will only embark if the push task is 1 waypoint. Conclusion, the embarkation of troops to transport is a MAP SPECIFIC BUG. So I have been trying to get the embark troops to work in ME. I only tried Afghanistan so others may work. So thanks for that info. What do you mean by "Afghanistan, they will not embark at all if there are any waypoints for the push task."? What does waypoints for the push task? My issue is I cannot get the menu to show airborne troops. I have tried it with waypoint advanced actions & triggered actions. I will have to try another map to see if I get a better result.
