Hippo Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) I don't know if it's just me but if I assign some of the newer callsigns, e.g. "squid" or "ragin", to flights, although the name can be seen in the subtitles for radio calls it is not heard, as if the audio file doesn't exist. E.g. "squid one" will only be heard as "one", whereas the older callsigns e.g. "enfield one" are played in their entirety. Well, don't mark my post as a solution as this is still not working as I assume it should More posts it gets, hopefully more traction it gets with the ED and it gets bumped up in the priority 1
Volator Posted February 6 Posted February 6 OK, here is one more post for more traction. It is an annoyance indeed. On a sidenote (and this has already been said in other posts), currently the callsigns for GCI always revert to "Axeman" in multiplayer, no matter what was set as callsign before. 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
rob10 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 It's not a "bug" perse, they just never implemented voiced callouts for the new callsigns. It's a lot of work to do that correctly. I believe they're waiting until they do the complete ATC overhaul before they mess with it (so they aren't coming "soon"). 1
