Clawhammer Posted February 14 Posted February 14 (edited) Hello all, i made a simple mission for me and my friend to learn heli flying. At first the mission worked fine on my server. But after adding some objects to the map we cannot longer select a slot with the slot selection menu in multiplayer. I still can select my helicopter by pressing the icon of the helicopter on the map, but the menu does not work. I can click it and nothing happens. I created a new map with the same helicopter and it worked again. Any suggestion why this mission does not work any longer? Thanks for help! EDIT: I found the solution, i placed some ENEMY ground vehicles on the same airport. I dont know why but this seems to disable the multiplayer slot selection tool. I dont know why it still works in SP/Mission Editor or why its still possible to select a slot by pressing the helicopter icon on the map When "live" (non-static) enemy units are present in an airbase or FARP, they capture the base, which is what happens here: No idea why SP lets you spawn at the base, though. EDIT: I think I understand the difference between SP and MP. SP missions start with the player. I assume base is BLUE at T=0, so the player is spawned. Then, one second later, the base turns RED. In MP, you pick at slot at T>0, the base is already RED. Edited February 14 by Flappie 3 ---
