sobek Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 This thread has reached it's shelf life and is starting to smell really nasty. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!

Wilde Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Could someone explain what exactly is photoshoped? The pictures showing sharp details of supposedly inlet vanes are photoshopped. That doesn't mean anything else is real though. People are trying to play mind-games on various forums. Let's not forget the thing is a prototype at the moment.

sobek Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I don't think it's PS-ed... Look at the color of the outer duct, it changes after the guide vanes, same for the shaft, it changes color in the same plane. Doesn't that look strange to you? Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Hardcore Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 (edited) I wonder what will do all these ultra modern planes of 5th generation (also very expensive) with electronic failure. I mean even jets of 4th gen still have some classic gauges. Of course their main task is combat, but price of each plane saying - "these machines must be returned to base at all costs". And pilot is priceless. Edited April 1, 2010 by Hardcore
Lucas_From_Hell Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I guess it'll still have basic instruments. The A-29 (EMB-314), for example, has only three gauges, but those can keep you informed enough to get it back home. If things get bad enough, there's always the ejector seat, so...
